Despite our best efforts, baggage sometimes gets delayed or damaged. We apologize for this inconvenience. If you're having issues with your checked baggage, or forgot something onboard your flight, we can help.
Did you forget something onboard a recent Alaska flight?
If you left something behind in the cabin of one of our airplanes, fill out a lost item report using the button below. It will give us the detailed information we need to search for your item.
Before filling out the form:
- Gather all the information about your item that you can.
- Be sure to include detailed, accurate descriptions of the item to help in our search. Failing to include information will make it more difficult to find your item.
- File your report within 14 days of the loss; reports filed later than this are less likely to be recovered.
Once you submit the form:
- You’ll receive a confirmation email that contains your lost report ID number.
- Need to update your lost item report? You can update the information in your report for two weeks after filing it. To get started, you’ll need the last name included on the report and your report ID number.
- A thorough search will take place for approximately 30 days after we receive the lost item report. We will update you via email throughout the search process.
- If we find an item that matches the description you gave us, we’ll contact you via email and/or phone to verify that the item is yours and arrange for delivery.
- If we can’t find your item, we’ll email you to let you know.
