What is Self-Tag Express?
Self-Tag Express is one of the many ways we strive to make your travel easy and hassle-free. When you're traveling from an eligible city, print your luggage tags at home with Self-Tag Online or at one of our airport Self-Tag Kiosks. Then look for our designated baggage drop areas, and you'll be quickly on your way.
Who is eligible for Self-Tag Online
Passengers traveling on flights within the United States from an eligible city will be given the option to print their luggage tags during Web Check-in.
Does it work with Mobile Check-In?
Not at this time.
How do I get my Self-Tag holder?
You can request to have Self-Tag holders mailed to you before your flight. Please allow 5 business days. Self-Tag holders will also be available at the baggage drop areas of participating airports.
How long will the Self-Tag holder last?
We anticipate that the Self-Tag holder is durable enough for approximately 10 flights. If yours begins to wear out, please pick up a replacement at the baggage drop area or request new ones sent via mail.
Am I required to use Self-Tag Express? What if I don't have a printer?
Printing your bag tags during web check-in is optional. Although we find many of our customers prefer to use our self-service check-in and bag check options to expedite their time through the airport, we still offer our agent assistance option. Our customer service agents will be happy to assist you with all of your check-in needs.
What do I do when I get to the airport?
Look for the Self-Tag Express sign in the baggage drop area. Our customer service agent will weigh your bags and verify your photo ID. That's it – you'll be at your gate faster than ever.
Do I have to use the Self-Tag Express bag drop area? What If I need to see an agent in another line?
We anticipate that the Self-Tag Express bag drop area will be the fastest way to go, but if you are using our First Class Check-In area, or need to see an agent for any other reason, we will collect your self-tagged bags at any of our staffed check-in points.
I tried to print my bag tags but my printer ran out of ink. Can I reprint my bag tags?
Yes, you can reprint your bag tags just like your boarding passes. Simply begin the check-in process again, and you will be able to re-print your bag tag(s). You will not be charged a second time for your bags.
I printed out my bag tags but left them at home. Am I going to be charged again when I drop off my bags?
No, when you get to the airport the agent will print a new tag for you and cancel the tag you printed at home.
I printed and paid for more bags than I need. What do I do?
Our customer service agent at the airport will refund the fees paid for any unused bag tags.
